Responsibilities
Canyon Ranch offers a variety of programs and events that help our guests meet their wellness goals, and the Digital Merchandising Manager will be a highly-motivated self-starter who can drive best-in-class visual merchandising and storytelling on canyonranch.com. Relying on a data-driven, consumer-led approach, this role will deliver the “right product at the right time” to consumers by building strong cross-functional relationships with various departments including Sales, Marketing, and Digital Product. Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to deliver merchandising storytelling while considering consumer journey, navigation, and content strategy.
  • Merchandising Analytics & Optimization: Analyze KPIs to identify consumer behaviors and opportunities that reduce friction and maximize conversion while collaborating cross-functionally to lead optimization initiatives with a test & learn approach.
  • Site Features & Improvements: Collaborate with internal and external partners and agencies to prioritize features, functionality, and experiences that drive conversion and results.
  • Be the Expert: Identify the trends and technologies that will continue to deliver an authentic digital experience and evangelize consumer experience opportunities across the enterprise. 10%
  • Merchandise Strategy & Planning: Drive a well-coordinated merchandising approach that effectively uses website real estate to feature the right stories at the right time to meet overall conversion/business goals. Deliver this approach based on company/brand priorities/calendars, growth objectives, customer feedback, competitor research, sales data, and economic/market conditions.
  • Website Experience Management: Day-to-day management of CanyonRanch.com and other digital properties including planning, content needs, analytics, and development.
Other Functions & Duties:
  • Ensure the Canyon Ranch Social and Community efforts keep pace with and continues to grow/scale as the brand and business evolves
  • Additional hands-on help as required with a nimble entrepreneurial digital team
Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of digital merchandising and commerce experience with a consumer product goods, travel or retail company.
  • Proven ability to turn insights into actionable strategies that drive results through a combination of testing & learning and digital analytics
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities to deliver digital experiences that are consistently on-time and on-budget.
  • Strong collaborator and project manager with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of different platforms and tools: Shopify, Google Analytics, and passion for developing your digital skill-set including Content Development/UX, Accessibility, Analytics and SEO.
  • Experience working collaboratively, especially with creative, U/X, SEO and digital product teams to build customer experiences that convert
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
