How you’ll play:

As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for merchandising support to the team on all merchandising activities, including: product lifecycle management/systems work, assortment building and planning, merchandise reporting and samples, analysis of data and results, and creating any support materials for cross functional teams. You should be a self-starter, highly engaged and able to represent the passion for our brand, our products and our company.


Product Management:

  • Build and maintain seasonal assortment boards (accurate style numbers, descriptions, color codes, scale of prints, alignment and spacing, etc.)
  • Owns communication with cross-functional team members on changes and updates made
  • Style creation and setup for all style/colors
  • Maintain all data in PLM system (MSRPs, flows, attributes, hierarchy, descriptions) using data entered into Line Plan tools by Merchants
  • Ensure data accuracy between Line Plan tool and PLM system for all inputs


Support Merchants in weekly, monthly and seasonal analysis and hindsight:

  • Refresh Top 30 boards in weekly business review deck for all categories
  • Populating visuals in seasonal hindsight decks


Assist Merchandise Manager in all other merchandising activities:

  • Process mail
  • Print and distribute assortment boards for milestone meetings
  • Assists with competitive benchmarking
  • Attendance and support of Merchants at key milestone meetings
  • Help to keep files and documents organized in Merch Sharepoint and Merch folders
  • Communicate with Merchants when tasks are completed or support is needed


Sample Management:

  • Organization of merch sample racks as needed
  • Assists in meeting room setups and cleanup


What you'll bring:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • 1-2 yrs corporate environment experience in related field preferred
  • Knowledge of PLM systems and Adobe Illustrator a plus
  • Must have a sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • College degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate throughout an organization
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
