We are currently seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to join a membership body based in Washington DC. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns for a portfolio of journals. Your main focus will be on analyzing campaign results, aligning them with the annual budget, and meeting the goals set.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day implementation of integrated marketing campaigns for a portfolio of 9 journals, covering content marketing, social media, email, SEO, events, direct mail, and media buys.
• Build strong relationships with editorial colleagues, including Managing Editors and Editors in Chief. Communicate campaign goals, initiatives, and results to establish yourself as a trusted marketing expert for the journals.
• Develop relevant strategies and marketing tactics to support the goals and objectives of the client.
• Represent the marketing team on cross-departmental projects such as webinars, broad subject campaigns, and events/exhibits related to the journals in your portfolio.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform future decisions and drive year-over-year growth in audience usage, submissions, and citations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably with experience.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience in strategic marketing planning.
• Familiarity with email marketing techniques.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based marketing..
• Ability to perform marketing analysis.
