The expected salary range for this position is $25.93 - $32.41. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview


We're seeking a Digital Content Execution Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced marketing team. This individual will be pivotal in bringing creative assets to life across various digital platforms including web, email, SMS, and push notifications. The ideal candidate will work seamlessly with copywriters, marketing managers, and project managers, implementing the digital experience to ensure an engaging and coherent user experience. Additionally, this role involves analyzing the performance of various digital mediums and collaborating with the team to optimize and improve where necessary. By driving our digital presence and enhancing user engagement, you will play a crucial role in releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.


What will you do?


  • Implement, schedule, and send email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Compile reports and analyze performance of the email channel to inform best practices.
  • Assist in other digital marketing tasks as needed.
  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
  • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content is properly executed within the broader digital marketing strategy.
  • Use basic HTML knowledge to format and implement content for web and email.
  • Collaborate with marketers, designers, and copywriters to ensure best in class digital experiences including email, websites, push notifications, and SMS.
  • Test different implementation strategies to determine what works best for the target audience.
  • Carry out basic tasks with creative suite such as resizing images, etc.
  • Create and publish webpages using the content management system
  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.


What do you bring?


  • Preferred: Content Management System (CMS) experience (Wordpress, Tridion, Sitecore, etc)
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: HTML Experience
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team, as well as work independently.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platform.
