Dental Assistant (Entry Level)

Experience preferred, but not necessary - willing to train those interested in starting a career in the dental field! 😀

🏰 Location: That Broadway Smile - 800 N Broadway, North Massapequa, NY 11758

Current available shifts:

• Friday: 2pm-6pm
• Monday: 2pm-6pm
• Saturdays: 8:30-1pm
• Thursday: 2pm-6pm

Our Pediatric Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties - we are looking for an energetic, personable and hard-working assistant to join our practice. Dental Assistants at our company work chair-side making patients feel as comfortable as possible, prepare them for treatment, obtain their dental records and instruct patients on post-operative and general oral health care.

🦷 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

✨ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Resume must demonstrate stable employment history
• Special interest in learning about the dental field, prior dental assisting experience a plus!
• High School Diploma or equivalent
