Job Description
DELI DISHWASHER

Regular Full Time - $17.75-$19.25/HR

SHIFTS: - All Shifts - (Complete Open Availability) - Weekends Required

Position Overview: As a Deli Dishwasher you will complete all duties related to dishwashing, such as but not limited to: cleaning of all cooking equipment, dishes, pots, pans and utensils and aiding in the unloading of deliveries for the kitchen when necessary. You may also be required to participate in the prep work and maintenance food quality as well as the kitchen’s cleanliness. Finally, you must embody a positive Oliver’s Market image by providing considerate, friendly and efficient customer service, as well as providing support to the Executive Chef, Deli Manager and Deli Staff.

Essential Functions:

  • Organize, face and rotate products when necessary
  • Regularly maintain a clean work station and deep clean department area when necessary
  • Wipe down counters
  • Maintain cleanliness of rotisserie and stove tops
  • Ensure that all health department standards are being met when cleaning and handling food
  • Perform basic food preparation as directed
  • Aid in proper storage and organization of all department deliveries
  • Manage and maintain clean dishes and kitchen equipment by food safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management and in a timely manner follow through on managerial requests
  • Participate and aid in pre work when necessary and as directed
  • Sweep, wash and mop floor as needed
  • Perform proper and safe use of cleaning products and equipment
  • Transport laundry to pick up area
  • Dispose of trash, compost, recycle, excess oils and grease
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, small wares, utensils and containers using machinery and cleaning equipment while properly and safely using cleaning products and equipment

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Ability to lift and carry items 5-25 lbs. consistently
  • Quick and efficient movement
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent commutation skills
  • Basic knowledge of how to operate a dishwasher
  • Able to work well in a face pace environment
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self-motivation
