Wash and sanitize pots, dishes, utensils, carts, etc. either by mechanical washing or handwashing.

Stock and rotate food and non-food supplies using appropriate storing techniques.

Maintain proper chemical amounts and temperatures for the dish machine and sinks.

Minimum of years of related experience.

This job requires minimal visual requirements. Able to distinguish unlike items, detect motion, and distinguish color.

Clean, wash, and store all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and other related items.*

Clean all food service areas, storeroom and locker areas in order to maintain sanitation, safety, and cleanliness.*

Use correct chemicals for designated items for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements

Six months of experience preferred

Previous experience working in a team or group environment

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas

Wash and clean walls in kitchen area

Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters

Ensures that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards

Washes dining room and kitchen items using the dishwasher or by hand

Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in the appropriate storage areas

Cleans work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area

Keep all kitchen wares storage area clean and orderly

Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster being sure the receptacles are regularly cleaned and sanitized

Perform other duties as assigned by management and in a timely manner follow through on managerial requests

Manage and maintain clean dishes and kitchen equipment by food safety guidelines

Basic knowledge of how to operate a dishwasher

Ensure that all health department standards are being met when cleaning and handling food

Aid in proper storage and organization of all department deliveries

Organize, face and rotate products when necessary

Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant

Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces

Can complete requirements of job without constant supervision

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is not required, but is preferred.

Arrives at work on time, well-groomed in a clean uniform for every shift

Demonstrated a positive attitude at all times, willing to help out where needed

Follows all Walk-Ons safety, sanitation, and employee guidelines

Follows day prep sheet and completes all duties assigned

Light food preparation tasks as needed. Skills and Abilities:
