Data Visualization Analyst (Power Bi)

Data Visualization Engineer/Analyst with 5-7+ years of dashboard using Power BI needed for a FT perm remote role with our direct client. Must have experience building, designing, maintaining of dashboards, and making sure they are up and running. Ability to work with the business side and communicate to understand the needs and best way to do the dashboard. Nice to have would be insurance experience (revenue/policy understanding…)

This is a direct hire role offering base salary plus benefits and bonus - remote in US with up to 10% travel - not open to third party or c2c - this is a permanent role with the client.

The data team is growing and looking for a motivated and talented visualization engineer to join the data team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization. You will be responsible for developing reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives

• Create and maintain data models using Power BI Desktop

• Design and develop data transformation processes using Power Query

• Analyze data and identify trends and insights

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Work with other members of the data team to ensure data quality and consistency

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and data visualization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field

• Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization

• Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX

• Experience with databases Snowflake preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of ThoughtSpot is a plus
