Data Scientist - Rider Intern

We are looking for an intellectually curious, highly motivated Intern to build machine learning models that power our business operations. You will also get exposed to general data scientists skills such as data pipeline, dashboard, and experiment analysis. You will get to collaborate with a group of data analysts, scientists, engineers, and PMs from top schools and with experience building systems and apps at companies like Facebook, Twitter, Uber, and Square.
This position is a US based remote position. The individual hired into this role must be comfortable supporting multiple time zones across the globe with primary support to Pacific Time.
What You'll Do

• Collaborate with our talented team of data analysts, scientists, designers, product managers, and operators
• Provide data insight to support business decisions.
• Build models and conduct deep-dives to drive rider growth, reduce friction and encourage engagement.
• Learn programming languages, business intelligence tools, ABtest design, and machine learning pipeline on the fly

About You

• Fluent in Python
• Working towards a degree in Stat, Econ, IEOR, Computer Science, Data Science, Transportation Engineering (or related field)

The anticipated salary range for this position is $6,200.00 - $8,000.00 per month. Benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence.
