Data Scientist – Operations Jobs

This position will be responsible for preparing and managing Datamart Reporting schedules and deliverables.

Executes specific deliverables as part of a team assigned to support the day-to-day maintenance of busines applications and related project support.

Performs analysis to assess root cause of customer issues for reported system defects. This includes the reproducibility of the problem and managing the process for bringing the issues to closure. Effectively manages multiple priorities. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

Handles and maintains PL/SQL code enhancements, data extracts delivery to clients, RPA automation processes schedules and executions, post production QA.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

• Maximum: 140,000
• Minimum: 70,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• Communicate effectively with L1, L2, L3 support personnel, QA, business and technical leads to research and resolve issues.
• Expertise with performing root cause and impact analysis.
• Documents assigned projects/tasks and mentors junior resources in the team.
• Analyze data issues, understand ETL logic, and track them to the appropriate source databases.
• Ability to dive into Tableau dashboards and understand the logic behind multi-dimensional metrics.
• Solid skills with performance tuning PL/SQL scripts using indexes and hints.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BO Crystal reports & APOS InfoScheduler tool.
• Must be able to understand SQL code, execute queries, and investigate any reported defects.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly standard reporting deliverables.
• 6- 8+ years of work experience that reflects a proven track record of proficiency in the competencies noted.
• Hands on experience with PL/SQL packages, stores procedures, data aggregation, and error handling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferable to have healthcare industry experience.
• Highly organized, ability to coordinate effectively across cross functional teams.
• Define problem area, evaluate, recommend, and implement effective solutions to complex issues and problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal business customers and translate from business requirements to technical specifications.
• Experience in GCP Cloud, Postgre SQL, SAS, Python, Control-M, Tableau, Automation Anywhere.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
