The Data Science and Engineering (DSE) group is responsible for working with various business owners/stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Research, Engineering/Product and other teams to help them answer questions related to Malwarebytes performance and progress in various areas. We leverage the latest technologies from the Cloud, Big Data ecosystem & Reporting to ingest, cleanse and present the data to help improve our Products and Business outcomes.

We are seeking an intern for our team who will work closely with other Principal Engineers, Product Managers, Data Engineers & Data Scientists.

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture,
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Maintain and support existing platforms and evolve to newer technology stacks and architectures.
• Build analytics that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into various key business performance metrics.

Skills You’ll Need To Have

• Knowledge of SQL is a plus
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a technical area (Computer Science, Engineering or related field)
• Experience with object-oriented and scripting languages like Java,Python etc.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Good communicator and capable of working in a fast environment
