Data Quality Coordinator Jobs

JOB PURPOSE:

Enova is a shared services company that supports a group of Omaha based companies including NMC Caterpillar, RAKA, Ceres and Vancer. Our team consists of ~80 professionals who provide support services in Marketing, Human Resources, Training, Recruiting, Accounting, Finance, Safety, Warranty, Continuous Improvement, Information Technology and Strategy.

Enova is looking for a Data Quality Coordinator who will work directly with the Director of Data Governance to ensure quality data is maintained through out documenting entry requirements, review, reporting and management processes. This individual will support the organizations efforts to collect, manage and share data with both internal and external customers.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:

• Analyze and interpret data. Collect, process, and manage a variety of quantitative and qualitative data.

• Contact customers directly to update record/validate mailing address, contacts, and equipment

• Sort, update, and merge data files from a variety of sources.

• Perform data entry, research, verification, and cleansing.

• Accuracy: Evaluate data quality and perform data-cleaning operations. Ensure data types are correct and consistent. Verify quality of data coming in from customers. Understand null values or missing data. Ensure that file naming conventions become consistent.

• Assist in driving end-user adoption and adherence to firm data entry and normalization practices through documentation and collaboration with firm training resources

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Computer Science

• 5 + years relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Advanced proficiency in Excel preferred.

• Experience with PowerBi and Visio or other data visualization software a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present data in a simple and straightforward way for non-technical audiences.
