Quality Lead Jobs

The Quality Lead works under the direction of the Quality Supervisor to ensure the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the Quality System. Set up and perform multiple quality tests, compile statistical data, and prepare reports.

Responsibilities:

• Support all quality-related tasks on the production floor as needed.
• Train, motivate, and support all Quality team members.
• Perform density flow testing, and oversee quality testing equipment and its functions.
• Perform internal audits as required to comply with ISO 9001
• Analyze quality costs (failure reviews, re-inspection, rework, etc) and other quality data towards reduction of the total cost of quality.
• Assist in analyzing and solving quality and safety issues and perform process improvement projects.
• Prepare inspection plans and instructions to analyze trial products.
• Set up and perform multiple quality tests, compile statistical data, and prepare reports on testing results.
• Assist in coordinating the documentation for Corrective and Preventive Actions as well as Customer Complaints.

Qualifications:

• Analytical and organizational mindset together with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures is required.
• Use of basic dimensional and metrology inspection tools
• Working knowledge of Quality Management System ISO 9001
• Bilingual skills (preferred but not required)
• Time management skills / Prioritization skills / Organizational Skills / Interpersonal Skills
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in problem-solving techniques, work instructions, SPC, etc.
