Job Description

Responsibilities
Be the backbone of our database by entering new and updated customer and account information with precision and efficiency.
Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, setting entry priorities, and maintaining a systematic approach.
Process customer and account source documents diligently, reviewing data for any deficiencies and taking necessary steps to resolve them promptly.
Utilize your excellent typing skills to enter customer and account data accurately, either through keyboard input or optical scanning, following specific screen formats.
Maintain data entry requirements by adhering to established data program techniques and procedures, ensuring high-quality standards.
Verify entered customer and account data by meticulously reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering information, leaving no room for errors.
Combine data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete, showcasing your problem-solving abilities.
Eliminate duplication of data by regularly purging files and optimizing data management practices.
Stay up-to-date with system changes and upgrades, actively participating in testing new data and ensuring smooth transitions.
Protect vital information by completing regular database backups, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our operations.
Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, fostering collaboration and achieving collective success.
Requirements And Skills
Previous experience in data entry work, such as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, demonstrating your expertise in handling data accurately and efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office and other data programs, showcasing your familiarity with essential software tools.
Comfortable with administrative duties and familiar with office equipment, including fax machines and scanners.
Impressive typing speed and exceptional accuracy, ensuring swift and error-free data entry.
Excellent command of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, emphasizing your attention to detail.
A commitment to confidentiality, maintaining the privacy and security of sensitive information.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, enabling you to manage multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
