Location: This position will work in a hybrid model with both work from home (remote) days each Monday & Friday, as well as on-site days at the West Des Moines, IA office each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Zirous offers a flexible schedule so that you can work to meet clients needs and your personal needs. On-site days as described will be required for this role, local candidates within the Des Moines, IA metro will be given priority.

What you'd be doing:

• Visualization dashboard maintenance
• Work closely with Project Managers & Technical Leads to ensure successful project implementation
• Utilize visualization tools to generate ensemble models and reporting
• Data validation and troubleshooting
• Have the ability to create your career!
• Work with a project team to gather business and technical requirements
• Cross-department data consolidation
• Provide expert and specialized hands-on technical support, consultation and coaching to clients
• Research and development of applications to support client projects
• Produce client-specific reports detailing model performance
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
• Other duties as assigned
• Quality assurance
• Work on a variety of client projects as a full-time employee of Zirous - length of projects and types of client industries will vary
• Engineer and identify meaningful variables within datasets

Requirements

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. You can articulate complex technological concepts to fellow developers and translate for non-technical individuals. You are adept at navigating technical conversations with both team members and clients alike
• Android Studio, Git, Power BI, Anaconda, Eclipse, Emblem, Radar
• 1 - 3 years of experience with any of the following technologies:
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
• Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Qlik Sense, Google Data Studio, Looker,
• SAP BusinessObjects, SAP PowerDesigner, MicroStrategy
• Jira / Confluence
• Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Azure SQL
• R, Python, SAS
• VBA, MATLAB
• Quicksight, Microsoft Purview
• Microsoft Azure, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Gen 2, Logic Apps, Fabric
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Human Computer Interaction, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Qlik Sense, Google Data Studio, Looker, Quicksight, Microsoft Purview
• Sound fundamentals of data structures and understanding of object oriented programming
