The OPPORTUNITY

Leverage your claims experience and join our team as a Claims Processor II! This role is responsible for processing first party claims in accordance with state guidelines as well as supporting Commercial Claims adjusters through securing supporting documents and processing claims payments. This role is key in promoting and providing excellent customer service by informing customers of the claims process and ensuring a positive customer experience. Because the success of our company is rooted in teamwork, the way we care about the people we work with and serve, this hybrid role will work in our Raleigh office with the flexibility of remote work on a rotating schedule with the Processor team.

Your WORK as a Claims Processor will make a difference as you:

• Learn entry level claims processes (windshield claims) and valuing partnership with BMIC vendors
• Communicate to obtain missing information for adjusters such as provider numbers, authorizations, police reports, bills, estimates, etc.
• Monitor rental reservations and communicate with body shops for first-and third-party customers
• Telephonic and written communication with internal and external customers
• Assist with tasking mail and assignment information to appropriate adjuster
• Assist adjusters in ordering police reports and other required reports for claim files
• Pay expense invoices and administrative fees associated with the commercial claims process, as directed by adjusters
• Process first-party claims by company policy and applicable federal and state regulations

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• High School diploma and 1-3 years of work experience in an office setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to perform basic mathematics, apply deductibles and calculate depreciation if warranted.
• Proficient in the use and knowledge of MS Office software
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Proficient verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
