Job Description

Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to explore third party data resources, to get data through programming, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the third-party data on model improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of third-party data on model improvement.
  • Write programming codes to extract third-party data.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  • Explore potential useful third-party data resources.

Education and Experience:

  • College student from an accredited institution preferably in Computer Science or Data Science
  • Experience to automate data extract, transfer, and load process.
  • Experience with developing regression model a plus.
  • Experience to pull data using API call.

Skills:

  • Understand database systems and data structures.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in programming Python, R, or SQL.


The salary range for this role is $20/hr - $35/hr. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
