Job Description
  • Ability to conduct targeted research in registered data sources.
  • Ability to complete Client Project Training for all map data layers.
  • Ability to complete Client Tools Training for map data editing, edit tracking and reporting.
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands on experience in Pandas, Python, Python open-source libraries, Shapely
  • Ability to write and debug SQL queries (postgres preferred)
  • Ability to understand the underlying data structure impacted by maintenance edits
  • Basic scripting ability
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in navigation with below skills
  • General skills in open-source research for map data corroboration.
  • Good to have Microsoft Excel
  • Fluency with the command line interface (bash, zshell)
  • Fluency or ability to gain fluency with macOS, Numbers, Pages, Slack, Quip, Mail, Calendar, and Client Maps.
  • Experience or the ability to learn Client proprietary database CLI

Role:

  • Perform ad hoc database investigations to understand data maintenance issues and explore remedies.
  • Assist with the automation of data maintenance tasks
