Cybersecurity Analysts - Remote | Wfh

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the enterprise and supporting security operations through advanced analytics. You will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of security administration, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, compliance policies, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
Participate in threat detection and incident response activities, including threat hunting, detection creation, endpoint analysis, end-user interviews, and timeline construction.
Interact with multiple departments and assist support personnel in determining remediation methods on systems.
Conduct threat modeling, penetration testing exercises, and provide recommendations based on current industry trends.
Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and remediation strategies in customer data environments.
Perform malware analysis, insider threat investigations, incident response, host forensics, network traffic analysis, alerts tuning, and trend analysis.
Demonstrate strong understanding of security concepts related to threat categories such as malware, phishing attacks, Defense-in-Depth, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Utilize GRC (governance, risk management, and compliance) experience in a regulated industry, such as financial, to ensure adherence to third-party compliance requirements and conduct vulnerability assessments for regulators.
Apply continuous monitoring techniques to ensure proactive threat detection and response.
Leverage O365 and project management skills to effectively manage cybersecurity projects.
Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS, and SOC.
Requirements
5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience in an enterprise environment.
Strong experience in malware analysis, insider threat investigations, incident response, host forensics, network traffic analysis, alerts tuning, and trend analysis.
Understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and remediation strategies in customer data environments.
Solid knowledge of threat categories, including malware, phishing attacks, Defense-in-Depth, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
GRC (governance, risk management, and compliance) experience in a regulated industry, with understanding of adherence to third-party compliance requirements and running vulnerability assessments for regulators.
Continuous monitoring experience.
Proficiency in O365 and project management skills.
Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS, and SOC.
