As Delta Air Lines’ Customer Segment Specialist, your expertise in customer segmentation and audience analysis will be crucial. We need a specialist who can understand business objectives, craft appropriate customer segments, and continually assess the effectiveness of our segmentation strategies. Your analytical acumen and detail-oriented mindset will drive a data-informed strategy across the company.



The ideal candidate would have experience in marketing, data analysis, or a related field, with a focus on audience segmentation, CRM, or customer data platforms. The individual should be capable of developing, implementing, and overseeing audience and segment strategies.


What will give you an edge is understanding the needs and business objectives of the stakeholders in different business units and collaborating with those stakeholders to define the optimal segment for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-time Customer Data Platform (CDP) for the broader Enterprise that can serve as foundational and be built upon.


Responsibilities: 


  • Presenting insights and findings to stakeholders and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Regularly assessing the effectiveness of segmentation and audience strategies and adjusting as needed.
  • Staying informed on the latest trends and best practices in customer segmentation and audience analysis.
  • Defining new audiences and customer segments aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Collaborating with the strategy team to inform overall enterprise strategy with segmentation and audience data.
  • Leading ongoing training and development sessions on segmentation and audience strategy for internal teams.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to define relevant segments based on their business objectives.
  • Facilitating data-driven decision making across the organization.

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)


  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data management tools and platforms.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Experience in customer segmentation and audience analysis.


What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)


  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Platform or similar.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring customer data analysis.
  • Degree in Marketing, Statistics, or related field.



This position is based in Atlanta at the General Office and relocation will be required. The role will report to the General Manager of Digital Transformation.
