Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products' in-house Trading Desk is looking for a Programmatic Activation Manager. Reporting to the Programmatic team lead for your assigned line(s) of business, you will be a hands-on keyboard programmatic trader. You will have direct responsibility of your assigned campaigns – inclusive of all self-service capabilities in planning, execution, optimization, and reporting.


All programmatic and ad operations work is managed in-house in a fully self-service capacity. You will work in several platforms including DV360, Yahoo DSP, Amazon DSP, and The Trade Desk. Our media buys include most forms of programmatically available inventory: display, streaming, native, audio, digital out of home (DOOH), and in-app. We also work across the full marketing funnel from branding to direct response. You will partner closely with our in-house Ad Operations team who runs the ad trafficking, as well as strategy teams as an extension of their planning process.


You Will:


  • Prepare tactical plans and budget recommendations for your campaigns
  • Lead programmatic buys to support branding and direct response across platforms like Google, Verizon, Amazon, and The Trade Desk
  • Review and lead optimization of campaigns across revenue, performance indicators, and budget pacing
  • Analyze performance and unique opportunities to understand value provided by different DSPs and other vendors
  • Provide performance and insights for partner-facing campaign performance reports
  • Maintain relationship with platform support teams and work with other stakeholders to build optimization strategies that align with campaign goals, delivery, and performance
  • Design tests to evaluate DSP platforms and varying campaign strategies


High-level estimated time allocation


  • 60% - Campaign launch, management, and optimization
  • 30% - Budget forecasting and build plan strategies
  • 5% - Dedicated time for learning and building skills; work with key partners and teammates to master existing process and chart out new technologies or opportunities
  • 5% - Assist answering executive requests and drive special projects (e.g., CPM analysis, technology reviews, trading desk overviews)


Education:


Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in location is $68,400 to $94,050 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
