Overview
- Sells in First Focus and local promotions to identified customers
- Ensure accurate handling of the administration of field communication, pricing accuracy and short pay management
- New Account Handoff: coach PSRs & CRs on selling and display execution, merchandising standards, and ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
- Utilizes P.E.P.S.I. and PREMIER to provide superior customer service
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers
- Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods
- Establish contract agreement and Executional Framework objectives in targeted new accounts, achieving volume and revenue targets through mix of products and points of distribution
- Maintains wiring to the new accounts
- Assumes and/or retains advantage position placements in targeted accounts
- Meets PQI objectives
- Assures merchandising standards are executed in all accounts
- Focusing on securing "More Space, Better Space & White Space" with all accounts
- Follow safe work practices (vehicle accidents, injuries)
- Utilize local data to research and develop customer opportunity list
- Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
- Analyze business trends to develop a business growth strategy
- Ensure customers are complying with PBNA contract requirements, ensure communication and alignment of initiatives
- Fully executes ALL elements of SMART selling on every order
- Utilize key selling processes (internal PEPSI way to sell, Pre/Post Call Planning, Profit Max)
- Consumer packaged goods experience
- Must have 1-2 years of fact-based selling in Retail Sales (Grocery/ C&G)
- Computer literacy with Excel, Power Point, Word; willingness and ability to learn/quickly adapt to other internal support systems
- Lifting: Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs periodically
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Communicates clearly with customers as well as other PBC functions
- Self-motivated
- Manages daily execution by knowing the business and focusing on the customer
- Demonstrates personal accountability while adhering to PBC’s values
- Solid capability to manage and prioritize schedule
- Strong communication skills and collaboration skills with National Customer teams, regions, and HQ teams
- Independent & motivated individual; ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with coaching and feedback
