As an Account Development Representative at VPL, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new sales leads through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify target accounts and create a pipeline of opportunities. This role is crucial to the growth of our business and provides a great opportunity for personal and professional development. The Account Development Representative role is a position reporting directly to our Director of Marketing.


What You'll Do


  • Responsible for supporting entire Director of Business Development team on a national basis and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation goals
  • Engage executives of prospective customers in discussions regarding industry supply chain challenges and VPL’s solutions
  • Collaborate with Director of Business Development sales reps once leads are qualified and transition pursuits so they can move deals to close
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums such as email, phone calls, Linkedin and other related prospecting tools
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and industry trends
  • Update and maintain CRM with all relevant details associated with prospecting activities
