Job Title: Crew Scheduler
Location: Orlando Florida
Department: Crew Resources
Reports To: Director, Crew Resources
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: The Crew Scheduler ensures the proper, efficient, safe and economical assignments of crews using company guidelines and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Essential Functions:
- Monitor flight and duty time limitations, rest requirements, and qualification statuses for all crewmembers, taking appropriate action to maintain legal operation of all flights and to prevent or mitigate any crew-related delays.
- Schedule all flight crewmembers in accordance with company policies and FARs to ensure proper staffing for all operating flights.
- Coordinate with Training and updated schedules as needed to ensure crewmembers remain current, legal, and available to operate.
- Effectively communicate with crewmembers, other departments, company leadership, third-party vendors, and business partners.
- Arrange deadhead air travel, ground transportation and hotel accommodation as needed.
- Ensure crewmembers have all required documentation for entry/exit at scheduled destination(s)

Qualifications & Experience:
- One (1) year resource/manpower planning experience (preferred)
- Must be willing to work any assigned shift to support 24/7 operations.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year airline crew scheduling and/or aviation experience (preferred)
- One (1) year customer service experience (preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
- Must pass a background check which could include fingerprinting, a pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC)
