Corporate Security Manager Jobs

The Manager of Corporate Security is responsible for promoting the Asset Protection key objectives through ensuring the safety, security, and protection of company assets within the corporate environment. This position will effectively lead, manage and support the security and life safety program for the Corporate Offices to include physical security, fire and life safety, alarm response, access control, visitor's control, CCTV, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and manage Fire Command Station during alarm events
• Fosters Effective Internal and External Communication through regular statuses with team and partners
• Develops and drives crisis management plans for Burlington Facilities, Corporate facilities and Buying Offices
• Develop and maintain budget for Fire/Life Safety initiatives/projects
• Ensure that life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional
• Lead efforts on the development and delivery of emergency response programs
• Support Fire/Life Safety efforts on behalf of the organization as directed by Sr. Manager/Director
• Develop tailored training and awareness materials as directed
• Works with Buying Office Leadership to ensure consistent physical security standards
• Responsible for the selection, training, supervision and management of the Corporate Office Security associates
• Responsible to ensure security personnel are trained and certified to effectively respond to emergencies
• Supervise security personnel to provide effective security for corporate facilities to include physical security, safety, alarm response, access control, visitor control and CCTV
• Lead and own all responsibilities related to Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plans
• Ensure that all floors have fire safety teams, including Fire Wardens, Deputy Fire Wardens, and Building Evacuation Team members
• Work closely with Facilities and support Leadership on weather related issues (warnings, closures, etc.)
• Identify and maintain exceptional 3rd party vendors

Qualifications:

• Former Law Enforcement/Fire Department/leader level a plus
• Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) preferred
• Experience with supervising enterprise-level security operations centers
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
• Proficient in MS suite programs
• 5 - 7 years of corporate security/life safety experience at management level
• Experience authoring policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Action Plans, and post orders
• Experience supervising and monitoring campus security operations at multiple regional campus locations
• Experience managing contracted security guard/officer forces
• Former corporate security/life safety experience
• Experience planning and conducting emergency response drills and training sessions
• Completion of threat assessment training employing a threat assessment methodology and/or SPJ validated for use in higher education environments preferred
