Corporate Security Officer Jobs

Mulligan Security, the tri-state's leading private security organization, has immediate job opportunities for Security Officers at Class “A” properties in New York City.

The starting wage is between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour depending on certifications and availability to work. Additional benefits include comprehensive healthcare benefits 401k plan, paid holidays, paid sick and vacation.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following licenses and certifications:

• Must observe and report suspicious activities on client's properties
• Must have ability or willing to learn to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Must possess an F-01 license or be willing to obtain one (training will be provided and test will be paid in advance)
• Must be able to stand for eight consecutive hours (all positions are standing)
• Must have ability to interact cordially and communicate with public and staff members in an effective and professional manner
• Must have an active New York State Security Guard License
• Must pass a detailed two-step interview process to qualify for the position
• Must be able to work interior and exterior posts
• Must investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities or be willing to learn
• Must be able to conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot

Schedules

• Evening shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
• Part time positions available only for weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
• 8 hours shifts
• Morning shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) Limited number of morning positions
• Overnight shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday
• Weekend availability highly preferred
