The Corporate Meeting & Event Lead will directly report to the Chief Operating Officer and support our executive team.


What you’ll do…


Meeting Planning


  • Manage communications with meeting stakeholders and attendees, providing clear and detailed information, and fielding questions and feedback regarding events
  • Manage relationships with vendors and travel partners including negotiating corporate rates
  • Lead venue research, sourcing and contract negotiations
  • You will organize event related materials, including signage, print materials, name tags, promotional giveaways, etc.
  • Develop project task lists, event timelines, and the associated planning process
  • Serve as the logistics lead on both internal and external events including conception, planning, management, execution and post-event follow-up
  • You will manage the meeting budget and expenses, working with our finance team to ensure timely payments
  • Plan and coordinate teams visiting corporate headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens including lodging, dining, events, etc.
  • You will lead on-site execution and management of event, to include venue & event staff management
  • Plan and coordinate annual leadership Meeting, and other meetings or events, on an ad hoc basis
  • You will manage all venue logistics, including, menu planning, audio-visual equipment, décor, set-up, etc.


Philanthropy


  • Identify opportunities for giving back to the communities that we operate in and coordinate events accordingly
  • Develop and manage a philanthropy program that aligns with our values and business within the telecom industry


Administration


  • Have the opportunity for growth and internal career advancement.
  • Coordinate the executives’ schedules and deliverables.
  • Occasionally travel domestically.
  • Proactively carry out administrative tasks in support of the executive team including, but not limited to, creation of presentations and reports, correspondence, and communications.
  • Work on average 3 days in the office, and the remainder remotely.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

  • You are able to pivot with little notice and a high degree of composure.
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience working with Google Suite is helpful.
  • You are able to problem solve, think and act independently, and be resourceful.
  • You thrive when interacting with others and enjoy communicating regularly and often.
  • Must be willing and able to work off hours as needed.
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • You may have an Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree.
  • You possess integrity and exercise sound judgment.
