Corporate Finance Business Intelligence Analyst [Remote]

Scope of Position

Under the guidance of the Business Transformation Manager and within the Financial Operation group, the Business Intelligence Analyst focuses on acquiring and reporting data in a manner that supports the needs of business stakeholders, as well as supporting Business Transformation and Systems Solutions initiatives where appropriate. While efforts are expected to be primarily focused on the needs of Corporate Finance in US and Canada, this focus can reach across the North American enterprise to the extent initiatives led or supported by Corporate Finance implicate those stakeholders.

The Business Intelligence Analyst Works Closely With

• EDF Renewables Continuous Improvement (CI) teams across the enterprise
• Financial Operations team members
• Stakeholders associated with operating and support functions across EDF Renewables North America
• EDF Renewables Corporate Finance Group stakeholders
• EDF Renewables Digital Technology and Digital Transformation team members

Responsibilities

• Other duties assigned
• Provide SME support regarding reporting impacts and considerations for digital initiatives led by Corporate Finance or other business units.
• Support process improvement initiatives. Tasks may include process mapping, data collection, data analysis, facilitating meetings, etc.
• Investigate and resolve reporting errors for reports maintained by Financial Operations.
• Build reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Data reporting tasks:
• Support systems solution initiatives under the supervision of the Corporate Finance Group Systems Solutions Lead.
• Develop and maintain library of reports developed for the Corporate Finance Group, including appropriate technical documentation such as data sources, elements, systems, and reporting applications used.
• Intake reporting requirements, identify data sources, and acquire data to develop recurring or ad hoc reports.
• Provide support and guidance to other reporting subject matter experts (SMEs) in Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

Education/Experience –

• Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification a plus
• Experience designing and building data visualizations with MS Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics for Cloud (SAC), or similar reporting tools
• 3+ years data reporting experience required
• Experience mapping processes with MS Visio, Miro or similar tool preferred
• Experience with project management and/or process improvement preferred, otherwise strong aptitude to learn and/or develop these skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business/Finance or related field required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities –

• Experience with SQL queries, SAP, and Microsoft SharePoint a plus
• Excellent technical documentation skills preferred
• Strong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams required

Working Conditions

85% of time is expected to be spent in an office environment utilizing computers (various office, program management and analytical applications), phones, and general office equipment. Up to 15% of time may be spent traveling as necessary to analyze offsite business processes.

Pay Range: $79,050.00 - $131,750 Annually
