Corporate Credit Analyst Jobs

Well-known financial services company is recruiting for an Corporate Credit Analyst to be based in NYC on a hybrid basis. This is a contract role of 6 months initially.

The Corporate Credit Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Corporate Hedging and Derivatives Portfolio as well as other corporate exposure through the firm. Main responsibilities include ongoing portfolio maintenance via annual and adhoc credit reviews, and onboarding of new client relationships. The analyst will be required to conduct due diligence and assemble approval documentation. The analyst will also work on portfolio reporting, portfolio exercises and senior management requests.

Basic Requirements:

• Partner with operating officer group and execute on reporting related tasks
• Analysis of portfolio metrics and ability to determine vulnerabilities
• Strong communication skills with ability to present findings and views to senior credit officers
• Ability to monitor corporate counterparties and raise credit concerns
• Ability to learn new technology and reporting methods
• Production of annual reviews for single name credits with a detailed analysis of financial operating metrics and forward-looking view. This includes the assignment and maintenance of a PD rating.

Desired Skills

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office products
• Previous corporate credit risk experience of 5+ years
• Highly organized individual able to produce and maintain documentation and follow processes
• Financial statement analysis, and basic three statement modeling
