POSITION SUMMARY
The Brand Manager is an integral part of the Marketing team asked to build strong and effective relationships with restaurant leadership, Area Directors, and Tavistock Restaurant Collection’s (TRC) corporate partners. The focus of the Marketing department is to ensure all TRC concepts remain top of mind for our guests with relevant brand-focused collateral. The individual will drive consumer engagement in our digital marketing strategy, guest communications, and other marketing tactics, utilizing insight, experience, and industry trends to improve customer loyalty and grow sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Provide direction for internal marketing associates and interns.
- Menus: Participate in menu editing, development, and production process with all departments.
- Drives brand value by creating the structure for the analytics needed to support strategy development and project decisions, utilizing basic consumer insight principles.
- Social Media: Manage content and updates for assigned brands across social media channels – Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn – developing content calendars, sourcing information, and keeping the corporate content updated and relevant.
- Tracks effectiveness of marketing efforts and projects against budget, quality standards, and brand standards.
- Researches and pursues non-traditional local media avenues that may benefit the brand and franchisee.
- Planning: Partner with marketing and operational leadership to develop local/regional marketing implementation plans, calendars/timelines, and programs for new initiatives, campaigns, and promotions to achieve desired objectives/targets that support the overall brand strategy.
- Agencies + Support: Partners with agencies and vendors (Digital Media, Email, Creative, Public Relations) to manage and develop brand-relevant recommendations.
- Strategy: Lead the development of marketing strategy for specific TRC brands, partnering with our operators at each restaurant to deliver against our short-term and long-term brand-building objectives.
- Participate in the development of consistent annual brand plans to build brand equity as a means of attaining volume goals and long-term profit growth.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for the operational teams regarding marketing needs. Accountable for all timetables and communicates key milestones to the organization in order to drive decisions in support of brand/marketing programs.
- Implementation: Execute program goals and manage aspects of marketing programs, including restaurant promotion, market research insights, themes, messages, content, collateral, landing pages, and event logistics from concept through execution and follow-up; [requires some in-restaurant work during peak times (nights, weekends)].

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing or communications required
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years in a marketing role supporting brand strategy, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Two (2) years of experience in employer brand building preferred
Computer Skills: Proficiency in utilizing project management software (i.e., Basecamp, JIRA, Asana)
Other Requirements: Restaurant (casual or fine dining) experience preferred
Travel: 25% - The role involves travel to our corporate offices in Orlando, FL, at least once a month.
