We are searching for a Creative Director, PreSonus & Studio One, to join our team.

As a Creative Director, PreSonus & Studio One you will lead the strategic development of all consumer-facing brand creative, content & design intended to attract, connect and engage the brand's global audience of creators, players, producers & artists.

The scope of work will range from leading and developing a core team of internal and external creative resources supporting the launch of new hardware and software products, to supporting the growth & development of the PreSonus brand on an on-going basis across all relevant touch-points including advertising & paid media, growth marketing media & strategies, social & earned media, owned & operated (CRM, .com, on-platform), events & activations, to retail (physical & digital).

This position requires a broad understanding of the media and social landscape, in depth understanding of the brand and relevant consumer channels, and a passion for brand-building, music production and global creator culture.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the global awareness, adoption and expansion of the brand.
  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally with the Marketing, Design, Production/Operations, Social Media, Artist Marketing, Digital Marketing, Paid Media and Regional Marketing teams and stakeholders.
  • Guide the development and production of creative campaigns, creative strategies/tactics and assets across all brand channels & media to create demand for PreSonus & Studio One products and product launches on a monthly, seasonal and evergreen/annual basis.
  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally with key internal business stakeholders including product development, R+D and sales (Direct & Indirect).
  • Lead, manage and mentor a blend of internal and external teams.
  • Identify, vet, onboard and manage a roster of external agencies, design studios, production companies, photographers, vendors and freelancers.
  • Make creative decisions that elevate the PreSonus and Studio One brands and deepen our relationships with creators, influencers, producers, artists & players world-wide.
  • Guide the development and implementation of a unified PreSonus & Studio One brand identity across all consumer- and user-touchpoints to drive awareness, build brand equity and grow a passionate and engaged user-base of creators, producers, influencers & artists.

Who you are:

  • A personal passion for, and working knowledge of, music productivity tools and products and a passion for driving brand growth through music & creative communities.
  • Must be open to and eager to execute on cross-functional feedback in the interest of delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Experience developing creative strategies that integrate high-profile producers, artists, creators, and/or influencers.
  • A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to the wider team. Quickly and beautifully.
  • Proven track record of ideating and producing original, branded content, campaigns and consumer-facing messaging strategies that have driven measurable business results.
  • Experience in developing and supporting long-term brand positioning, development and creative growth strategies and an advanced understanding of what makes content and user-experiences engaging and successful across platforms and audiences. Experience directly leading and influencing teams in all aspects of creative concept development, strategy, planning and execution.
  • Manage budgets, teams, timelines, and projects while collaborating across departments.
  • Working grasp and demonstrated experience working across critical areas of traditional and new interactive design, including web, mobile, UX, animation, social, video and rich media experiences.
  • 7-10 years' experience in all aspects of leadership, creative planning & strategy, concept development and execution, including art direction, brand design, digital design, print, retail / experiential, photography and film / video concepts, editing, and production.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments and with multi-cultural brands.
  • Fluency across graphic design, motion design, typography, photography, video production and illustration with demonstrated mastery of Adobe Creative Suite.

Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $129,867 - $259,733/year.
