Coordinator For Success Programs - 10 Months

The St. Ambrose University Student Success Center seeks an energetic, relationship-oriented full-time Coordinator for Success Programs. Reporting to the Director of Student Success, responsibilities include providing classroom and individual instruction in reading and learning strategies. Other responsibilities include assisting with tutor training; creating and presenting programming on effective study skills, including reading skills, time management, test taking, organization, memory strategies, and other study skills; and overseeing a comprehensive, university-wide initiative to provide support for students on academic probation or who are not making satisfactory progress toward graduation. This person is a primary student success contact and liaison with athletic coaches and athletic team members. Requirements: minimum of Master's degree in Reading or a related field or 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Google Suite is required.
