Contracts Analyst (Negotiation/Cloud)

Job: Contracts Analyst

Location: Remote but open to travel 25% of the time

Duration: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $40-50/hr on W2

Job Summary:

The Contracts Analyst is responsible for the review, negotiation, and execution of enterprise cloud contracts. This includes working with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, negotiating with cloud providers, and drafting and reviewing contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing, contracts, and legal principles.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other departments within the company to ensure that contracts are aligned with the company's business goals.
• Provide training to employees on contract management.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in the law that may affect contracts.
• Maintain an organized system of contract records.
• Monitor contract performance and identify and resolve any potential issues.
• Prepare, negotiate, and review contracts for the sale or purchase of goods and services, as well as for other business arrangements.
• Ensure that all contracts are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of cloud computing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation or legal analysis

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation or legal analysis
• Master's degree in law or a related field
• Experience with contract management systems
• Experience with legal research and writing
• Experience with cloud computing contracts
