Part time Legal Analyst - Contracts Management Operations

Location: Remote (any time zone)

Duration: 6 months with possibility for extension

Rate: $30-$44 hourly

Description:

The Legal Contract Management Consultant (Part Time) is responsible for performing tasks and assignments supporting (1) the migration of contracts and related data to MBO’s recently implemented Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution; and (2) the management of personal data requests using MBO’s Data Privacy Management Platform. Additional tasks and assignments supporting MBO’s contracts and data privacy management may also be performed.

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal MBO teams to define and agree to the best approach to data reconciliation.
• Support internal MBO teams by locating, disseminating, and storing Agreements when necessary.
• Develop relevant metrics, analyze data, and identify trends to help drive improvements to the resolution of data subject requests.
• Brief and train internal MBO teams on utilizing the CLM solution to locate contracts and extract key pieces of data and important contractual terms.
• Appropriately organize contracts to ensure consistency and efficiency by creating easily searchable naming conventions and abstracting and tagging important terms.
• Use MBO’s Data Privacy Management Platform to respond to, monitor, and resolve inquiries from consumers/customers for additional information relating to the processing of personal data.
• Use MBO’s Data Privacy Management Platform to manage requests from data subjects and resolve such requests in compliance with legal and regulatory timeframes and additional guidelines.
• Work with the CLM solution vendor to prepare contracts and related data for migration and to identify opportunities for improvement and further efficiency.
• Work with MBO Security Engineers to coordinate and assign tasks related to resolution of data subject requests.
• Maintain contract repository of executed Agreements, including migration of Agreements from previous repositories and document management systems.

Requirements:

• Experience in contract lifecycle management and/or legal operations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, key stakeholders, and/or team members.
• Ability to prioritize projects and tasks appropriately.
• Experience managing contract classifications within a CLM system is desired.

Preferred:

• Experience with Link Squares or TrustArc.
• Experience assisting with a CLM system implementation or data migration.
• Project management skills is a plus.

Eligibility Requirements:

• As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
