DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Keeps thorough records of communications on projects and provides regular updates/reporting to management and internal stakeholders (as necessary) about the status of licensees and key issues
  • Conducts category performance analysis
  • Supports regional/global teams during execution; provides evaluation strategies for progress towards objectives
  • Communicates (e.g., e-mail, video conference) with regional teams during global working hours
  • Identifies and recommends new opportunities and partners in assigned sub-categories to Category Manager
  • Prepares comprehensive, compelling presentations; presents to internal and external partners as needed
  • Provides ongoing oversight of business relationships with current licensees including distribution channels, retail placement, volumes, financial and royalty reporting and payments, compliance, escalation, and resolution of issues
  • Supports day-to-day business development and account management for assigned licensees
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure timelines are being met and highlights outstanding items or challenges
  • Coordinates with leadership team to complete annual licensee performance reviews and business planning sessions
  • Assists Category Manager in developing and driving a long-term, global plan for assigned sub-categories/licensees
  • Assists Category Manager in negotiating deals to enhance deal terms and results; submits and processes deals and reviews licensing contracts.
  • Provides licensees and external partners with current brand or relevant information, assets, and new opportunities
  • Researches, analyzes, and understands market trends, consumer, retail and industry needs

SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Familiarity with licensing structure or previous relations with licensees; knowledge of contract and royalty management systems preferred
  • Experience in market analysis and research, retail management, brand/product development and consumer products marketing
  • Program and Account Management and/or Merchandise experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Nintendo franchises, characters, and intellectual property/video game industry preferred
  • 3-5 years of related Licensing experience or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Adobe preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in PC & MS Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

This contract position has a base pay range of $45.00 - $70.00 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms.
