Description:

Betches Media is seeking a diverse, fun, out-of-the-box thinker to join our social media team. This Content Associate should be someone who is passionate about travel as well as corporate work culture. This person will manage all day-to-day content posting and strategy on the @BetchesTravel and @WhensHappyHour Instagram accounts, inclusive of Instagram story design, feed posts, Reels, & Twitter. The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong opinions and a sense of humor, and be passionate about scaling audiences and communities on social media.

The ideal candidate should also have experience developing social strategies, using data to make decisions, building out content calendars, and drafting copy for diverse audiences. They should be excited to bring new ideas to the table, particularly around travel tips/trends, as well as the corporate work culture. They should also be aware of (and ideally passionate about) the Betches brand, and possess both strong social media, writing, and design skills. This position reports to the Senior Content Manager, Lifestyle.

Role & Requirements:

• Use social media tools (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) to create original and source curated content on a daily basis
• Have a pulse on emerging trends on social media platforms, and apply insights to the vertical where there are opportunities for growth
• Pitch and produce social-first series that will elevate and scale the brand on social media
• Ideate and execute content ideas alongside video, marketing, and branded partnerships teams
• Collaborate with content and data analytics teams to maximize content reach and engagement, and ensure the brand is meeting audience growth goals
• Manage the content strategy and run the @BetchesTravel and @WhensHappyHour Instagram accounts
• Oversee community management and engagement, with a primary focus on Instagram

Qualifications:

• Familiarity and strong enthusiasm for Betches brand
• Natural interest in the travel industry and the corporate culture environment, as well as the larger social media landscape
• Fast-learner who can quickly spot trends and adapt to ever-changing social landscape
• Design & content creation experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva or After Effects a plus
• Willingness to thrive in a startup environment, with a high level of motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial spirit
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• 1 to 2 years experience in storytelling, content creation & social media (including internship experience)
• Understanding of and ability to write in brand voice and tone, as well as excellent written and communication skills

Compensation:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $50,000 - $55,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following perks below.
