Description:

Betches Media is looking for a creative, trend-forward, and diverse social media expert to manage all day-to-day operations of the Good at Shopping content vertical inclusive of Instagram story design, feed posts, TikTok, & Reels. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong interest in fashion, lifestyle, and product testing. This person should also be familiar with all Betches content and be able to grow, engage and connect with our audience.

This individual must possess excellent copywriting and design skills plus strong organizational and communication skills and a passion for social media.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee community management and engagement on Instagram
• Work with the video team to optimize content for affiliate (AKA work with the video team to translate some of their videos and make them shoppable)
• Manage and execute the content strategy for the entire Good at Shopping brand
• Pay attention to emerging trends on Instagram & TikTok and apply to Good at Shopping where there are opportunities for growth
• Ideate and execute on social series around shopping and product testing for our social verticals
• Appear regularly on camera as a face of the Good at Shopping brand to test products and give reviews
• Write creative and engaging copy for product descriptions and social media posts to help drive conversion while maintaining brand consistency across the channel
• Responsible for producing branded content for the Good at Shopping brand
• Collaborate with content and data-analytics teams to maximize content reach and engagement, and ensure the brand is meeting audience growth and revenue goals
• Utilize social media tools (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Twitter, Reels) to create original content

Qualifications:

• Experience producing video and static content for social media
• The agility and flexibility to work in a small, fast-moving team and a growing business
• Prior experience writing for or contributing to a newsletter in the media industry, with a strong understanding of growth strategies
• A demonstrated ability to write engaging social-media copy within Betches brand voice
• Creative ability to stay on top of design trends within social media
• Familiarity and strong enthusiasm for entire Betches Media brand
• 2-3 years of social media design, storytelling & strategy experience
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva or After Effects a plus
• Willingness to thrive in a fast paced environment, highly motivated and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience working with e-commerce and creating branded content
• A quick, creative thinking & ideation mind set
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing and capability to execute social affiliate strategies
• Knowledge of, passion for, and experience with social-media platforms, both established and emerging

Compensation:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following perks below.
