The Brand Manager, Vodka (Lifestyle) supports the development of the Vodka marketing strategy and oversees the execution of its marketing programming and activations across all markets and channels in the U.S, in alignment with the Maison brand strategy and the broader MHUSA 2030 Strategy. This role works collaboratively with all key stakeholders to identify and build long-term connections with Vodka core consumers while being rooted in data-driven decision making, leveraging both business and consumer insights to develop programming that builds equity and drives profitability.
Strategic Business Planning:
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of culture & the competitive environment at all times, demonstrating a firm grasp on the evolving landscape and activity of Super Premium vodka brands in the U.S to inform planning and execution.
  • Develop and ensure delivery of brand KPIs and all performance metrics, in alignment with brand plans and MHUSA business objectives, ultimately driving positive ROI
  • Support the development of the U.S. Vodka marketing strategies, in partnership with Brand Director, Vodka, and in alignment with the Vodka U.S. portfolio and broader Maison strategies and plans.
  • Develop product expertise and a strong sense of market dynamics through training, market visits, and frequent customer interactions
  • Create exciting and compelling presentation and tools to ensure internal and external buy-in
Brand Management & Marketing:
  • Define strategic briefs for creative agencies based on market trends, consumer/shopper insights, commercial feedback and brand identity to develop exciting consumer and trade marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing and Demand Creators (Dining, Resort, leisure Bars) to ensure best of class execution in high image accounts.
  • Oversee the execution of various brand programs, in collaboration with Strategy and Business Planning, Consumer Engagement, Commercial organization, CC&I, and Consumer Insights teams, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to design and develop elevated, luxury POSM and brand assets to drive brand strategy and leverage consumer engagement opportunities at the moment of choice
  • Support the development and execution of 360-degree brand programs and activations firmly rooted in knowledge of the target audience, consumer insights, and growth space research, to achieve volume, profit and brand health targets
Lifestyle Marketing:
  • Collaborates with MH commercial team (focus High Energy and Trade Advocacy) to develop Belvedere presence with high image accounts (Nightclubs, top Mixology accounts).
  • Develop and leverage new and existing network of key influencers, tastemakers, and High Net Worth Individuals to maximize brand growth opportunities.
  • Support national events & new product launches.
  • Serve as the Vodka consumer expert, understanding what drives consumer behavior based on different cultural and demographic segments.
  • Build and manage relationships with individual influencers as well as agents, publicists and other key contacts in the influencer and entertainment sectors.
Profitability
  • Partner with Finance to define, track, and deliver brand profit goals
  • Support the implementation of optimal allocation, pricing, mix, and channel strategies, in collaboration with Strategy and Business Planning team, Sales team and the Global Maisons to maximize profit and volume growth
  • Manage the A&P deployment strategy, ensuring A&P spend is prioritized against business & brand objectives and managed to budget
  • Maintain brand A&P in MAP and oversee phasing and pacing, ensuring alignment with all reporting targets throughout the year (LE1, LE2, Landing)
Stakeholder Relationships
  • Develop relationships with Strategy and Business Planning, Consumer Engagement, Commercial Team, CC&I Team, Corporate Communications, Finance, Legal, HR, and IT to build and maintain commitments that enable the delivery of brand priorities and objectives
  • Establish the Vodka Brand Marketing team as a best-in-class, solutions-oriented collaborator within the MHUSA organization
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the global Maisons to ensure ongoing alignment and prioritization of U.S. specific objectives
  • Create strong working relationships with Demand Creators, Trade & Channel Marketing working in conjunction to deliver programs that meets the needs of their markets within agreed upon timelines
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with agency business partners, distributors, and other third-party stakeholders to continually ensure their commitment to delivering brand objectives, act as key point of contact for all third-party agencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Professional Experience
  • Experience in the U.S. wines and spirits 3-tier system preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive marketing ­­experience, preferably in wines/spirits, luxury, or consumer packaged goods brand marketing
Practical/Technical Knowledge
  • Strong expertise across all functions within the organization
  • Influential network and positive social media presence
  • Experience managing agencies and third-party vendors
  • Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision making
  • Ability to successfully adapt to a variety of work styles and preferences
  • Understanding of brand strategy development in a commercial context
  • Knowledge of Spanish Language a plus
  • Understanding of commercial and financial levers
  • Highly refined communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of culture, luxury environment & lifestyle trends
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional key stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Experience developing and executing both ATL and BTL programs, including but not limited to media, experiential, PR, drinks strategy, trade advocacy, sampling, retail visibility, etc.
  • Ability to connect with Key Opinion Leader and foster lasting relationships
  • Proven ability to lead creative strategy, including campaign development and deployment
Salary range- $108-$130K
