Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop recommendations for product enhancements, marketing strategies, and business initiatives that align with consumer insights.
- Questionnaire and Strategy Development:
- Utilize survey data and research insights to identify key areas for growth and capitalize on strategic advantages.
- Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
- Administer the creation and execution of surveys and various research methodologies aimed at understanding customer needs, desires, and preferences.
- Research Development and Deployment:
- Synthesize complex data sets into understandable trends, patterns, and actionable recommendations.
- Staff Supervision and Development – No

- Review and fine-tune questionnaires, focus group plans, and customer panel strategies to ensure the most pertinent markets are targeted.
- Contribute to the refinement of internal processes and best practices related to consumer insight gathering. - Analyze research findings, delving into consumer buying behaviors, preferences, and opinions to extract valuable insights.
- Craft well-structured focus group plans and customer panel strategies that facilitate comprehensive data collection.
- Decision Making – Creates policy and resolves problems, provides data for decision support , provides consultation or expert advice and participates in planning business objective
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to integrate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Market Targeting and Actionable Insights:
- Evaluate business drivers and market dynamics through research efforts to uncover potential strategic business opportunities.
- Incorporate feedback from surveys, focus groups, and other research methods into ongoing improvement efforts.
- Apply a data-driven approach to ensure the collection of actionable information that informs business decisions.
- Present findings to relevant stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, conveying insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Create strategies to enhance market penetration, increase sales, and improve overall customer engagement.
- Strategic Recommendations:
- Travel – 5%
- Develop and refine questionnaires, ensuring they effectively capture relevant information from target markets and demographics.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging technologies to refine research methodologies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research objectives with business goals, ensuring actionable insights are gleaned.
Requirements – Education and Experience
- Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Lift up to 15 lbs.
- Customer/client orientation.
- 1-3 years of experience with survey design, programming and analysis using DIY software platforms (Qualtrics, Forsta, Alchemer, Survey Monkey)
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
- Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Conceptual thinking skills.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- 1-3 years of experience in consumer insights, market research or related field
- Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
- Analytical thinking skills.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 – $97,600 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
