Creates compelling digital assets for marketing campaigns, including static and interactive advertising units, websites and landing pages, emails and social media.

Understand the digital landscape and take a user-centered design approach when developing digital assets.

Understands programming languages such HTML, and CSS, and designs mock-ups and wireframes.

Understands the UAB Brand and ensures all assets adhere to UAB brand guidelines

Basic Internet skills and knowledge

A college degree and 1-3 years of digital or web coordinator or specialist experience.

Working knowledge of computer applications, including those involving: spreadsheets and Google Docs

Working knowledge of Web site usage

Assist with publishing and maintaining content on the Virtual Community Center website

Work with the team to select digital asset collections for the website

Web management experience or similar role

Financial services industry/ asset management experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of usability and customer experience principles and techniques for mobile and web information architecture and design

Experience with marketing technology platforms such as AEM, Interaction Studio, Google Optimize, Google Tag Manager, SFMC

Be the central point of contact, overseeing planning, design, and development of a variety of website campaigns and experiences.

Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and building strong relationships with stakeholders, team members and clients

Experience with project management tools. Airtable and Jira preferred.

Build and edit web pages using the web content management system.

Provide training and user support for Met staff who are using the web content management system to author and publish content.

Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, web content management systems.

Experience working in public-facing digital media agency publishing, or related field.

Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience, in digital media creation, journalism, website design, digital communications, or related field.

Experience, Education and Training Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience with Website Design, Development and Content Management Systems (preferable in WordPress).

• Proficiency with HTML, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Adobe Suite, Project Management, and other programs and tools.
