Construction Superintendent Urgent Hiring

We need a deadline-oriented construction superintendent to manage our project and serve as a liaison between different project partners. The on-site construction team will be led and managed by the construction superintendent, who will also keep an eye on all work being done. The site's orderliness and adherence to safety rules will be the responsibility of the construction superintendent. You will ensure that quality standards are met and that all tools and supplies are on hand. To obtain approvals, you will communicate with inspection authorities.

Construction Superintendent Responsibilities

• Negotiate order costs with contractors to receive fair payment
• Uphold strict workmanship standards and abide by the original designs and specifications
• Manage the onsite staff and subcontractors
• Give resources to the designated initiatives
• Control every part of the project, from planning to execution
• Interact with clients, city and county authorities, architects, engineers, contractors, and project inspectors

Construction Superintendent Qualifications

• Powerful leadership skills
• Deadline-driven and meticulous
• Construction-related or college-educated preferred
• Powerful negotiating abilities
• 5+ years of superintendent experience
• Someone with experience who wants to work in Massachusetts is needed
• Prior experience managing construction projects for public housing from the ground up, with over 30 million dollars worth of wood and steel experience
• A working knowledge of construction management software
