Assistant Construction Project Manager for general contractor. Our top client currently has an opportunity available for APM to support their latest commercial projects. The APM will be an integral player in the management of the flow of information between the general contractor, the owner and other project stakeholders and help with design assistance and approvals process.

Construction Project Manager Assistant/project Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Communicates with super/
• Reviews the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to A / E comments
• Provides regular RFI and Submittal status updates to project stakeholders
• Project design
• Maintains project RFI and Submittal registry and tracks each through to closure
• Ensures that all appropriate documents are posted to the project database and provides assistance to vendor as needed
• Tracks and validates approvals of Hard Copy documentation from project stakeholders
• Processing of payment request and change orders

Skills / Qualifications Of Assistanyt Project Manager/Project Engineer

• Experience with commercial projects is a plus
• Strong judgment and flexibility
• 2-5+ years of construction management experience preferred and recent college grads encouraged to apply also with internships,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experienced in working with multiple leads across various disciplines to solve problems and improve processes
• Effective organizational and communication skills
