Job Description
and Tasks:


Spectrum is seeking a qualified Construction Manager with inspector experience to join our team who will provide the 17th Civil Engineering Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, Tx with advisory and assistance services in the areas of technical support in Facility Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization, Military Construction and Non-Appropriated programs. Specific functions include support to Air Force Program Management, Cost Estimating, and Construction Management. Some travel may be required.


Specific knowledge/tasks includes:


  • Ensure all construction inspection is accomplished in accordance with governing plans, specifications and in terms with the applicable contract
  • Design guides, standards, policy documents, technical studies/review analysis, and manuals
  • Serve as construction representative
  • In-depth knowledge of Air Force organizational structures, functions, and procedures
  • Coordinate work to ensure timely and satisfactory accomplishment of contracts
  • Serve as coordinator on projects with responsibility for technical, analytical, or project direction of the work
  • Comply with all Civil Engineering series (32) Air Force Instructions including: AFI 32-10141, AFI 32-1020, and AFI 32-1023
  • Familiarity with DoD Unified Familiarity Codes (UFC)
  • Develop design criteria, lead fact finding studies and investigations


Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution


Security Clearance: Completed Tier 1 investigation or higher


Requirements
