Construction Inspector Jobs

New Construction - Field Inspector will be knowledgeable in evaluating plans and specifications for new construction in Association Subdivisions, including SFH, Townhomes, Condominium, & Mixed Use Commercial. The New Build Inspector will able to conduct field inspections for standards of building structures and materials, to ensure compliance with Association Design Guidelines. The New Build Inspector will receive supervision and support from one or more senior field personnel for training, but should be able to independently perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive - must have a vehicle and valid Driver's License & Insurance.
• Observe and Inspect ongoing new build construction work.
• Report work progress and discuss construction related non-compliance with the Division Manager as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk on uneven surfaces (construction site), drive, lift light objects, .
• Spend time in the office and in the field.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure that new build construction is in compliance with the same.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain organized records
• Working knowledge of construction, including materials, plans, procedures, specs, and safety requirements.
• Ability to tolerate outdoor work
• Ability to communicate effectively and willingness to listen and take instruction.
• Ability to document deficiencies and communicate this information to supervisors as they arise
• Knowledge of HOA Design Guidelines & CC&Rs is a plus!
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, be able to use Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, PDF software.
