Construction Manager (Airport/Aviation)

Job Title: Construction Manager - Aviation
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $125K - $150K
Requirements: B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
Additional ways in which a candidate may stand out would be:

• Experience with Airport Terminal Construction and Baggage Handling Systems
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Familiarity with Construction Management software packages such as Procore, BIM modeling, Primavera, and Excel

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage the GC construction sub-contract, budget, and planning
• Assist the General Contractor with logistics planning for BHS deliveries
• Coordinate and manage the General Contractor
• Oversee and direct construction activities from conception to completion
• Track and verify inventory, materials, and equipment
• Monitor and progress onsite constructions, right-of-way clearances, and general construction work
• Monitor contractual conditions of performance
• Ensure all necessary permits, shutdown notices, and licenses are current and in place for construction activities
• Monitor construction quality standards and ensure the use of proper construction techniques
• Review project scope in-depth to schedule deliverables and review cost estimates
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks associated with utility relocation work
• Review and coordinate the construction schedule against BHS installation activities
• Take responsibility for the site-related GC budget
• Proactively plan and address potential problems and emerging issues
• Collaborate with customers, inspections, and operations to schedule work activities
• Review work progress daily and prepare internal and external reports on job status
