Overview


Job Title: Concierge Lounge Host


Salary: $20 + tips


Status: Full Time


Shift: Varies

Responsibilities


  • Handle large amounts of currency accurately and efficiently.
  • Clean up after the guests.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
  • Provide guests with directions as needed.
  • Provide a warm welcome to our internal and external guests.
  • Assist guest with any concerns that they may have and record such comments and concerns.
  • Efficiently checking in/out guests, which involves retrieving the guest reservation, verifying special requests and accommodations, programming room keys, calculating room charges, making approved changes to guest’s accounts and collecting a form of payment for charges incurred.
  • Stock all areas.
  • Accurately taking and relaying guest requests to other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell/Valet, VIP etc.
  • Properly handle guest mail
  • Answers the phone within three rings and with a smile.
  • Ensure that all guests questions are answered.
  • Set up food presentations and maintain them.


Qualifications


  • Computer Knowledge – excel, word, outlook, payroll system, PMS system
  • Must be able to stand and for extended periods of time.
  • Experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others and alone.
  • Must be friendly, approachable and team oriented.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Must have good communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • The incumbent in this position works on-site at the casino and interfaces with external/internal customers, Team Members, and vendors on a regular basis. The position’s work schedule varies and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the operation.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
