Rio Grande National Forest Camp Host

The Camp Host is responsible for overseeing and coordinating campground operations and must ensure an exceptional visitor experience. Job duties include, but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, checking in campers, collecting fees, cleaning fire pits, and groundskeeping. Must have a valid driver's license.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Explain campground layout and direct guests to campsites
• Basic grounds keeping including vegetation removal
• Enforce rules and regulations as outlined by Parks Management Company
• Clean campsites after camper departure
• Maintain bathroom cleanliness and properly stock with essential toiletries
• Daily financial reporting.
• Ensure proper payment is received
• Reservation management
• Inventory and stocking of campground supplies to include firewood, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Rubbish Collection and Consolidation
• Greet guests and answer any questions they may have

Seeking Camp Hosts for the 2023 season! Season runs from May 8th through September 17th, but is subject to change based on weather. Employees are paid hourly for each hour worked. Each individual must submit their own application.
