Compliance Analyst - Healthcare

Compliance Analyst VillageCare is seeking a motivated individual to assume the role of Compliance Analyst. This role will assist in monitoring compliance of the health plan with federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting the Medicare and Medicaid plan, and provide regulatory support to plan management and staff. Some daily activities will include: Develop and monitor execution of corrective action plans to remediate deficiencies. Work with business units to identify significant issues affecting VillageCareMAX, report non-compliant issues and assist in tracking and remediation. Provide project management support to ensure projects are completed on time & meet the needs of the organization Support tasks and projects such as CMS Audits, AEP, Readiness Activity, Timeliness Monitoring Project and Medicare Data Validation. Assist in the development and review of policies, procedures and member materials (e.g., Appeals, Grievances templates). Participate in cross functional committees and work groups as requested. Perform periodic compliance audits, risk assessments and related ongoing compliance monitoring activities. Communicate state and federal requirements to internal and external clients. Develop work and project plans, timelines and work with stakeholders with minimal supervision. We would like to speak with those who bring a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of job related experience in a health plan setting. Technical writer background preferred.
