Job Overview

Under the general direction of the Senior Land and Facilities Development Manager, assists with coordination of plans and defines the multiple aspects of new program initiatives for the Commercial Development Department with regard to construction, development and leasing of retail, office and industrial land uses. These include development of facilities, leasing opportunities, facility utilization, customer service development, presentations, and other Commercial Development Department projects in support of the Airport’s Strategic and Business Plan.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assists with administration and quality control of Commercial Development’s Official Board Action requests.
• Creation of Requisition for funding encumbrance and Request for Payment on Commercial Development Projects based on input from managers.
• Assists in the development and lease of real property and facilities, including coordinating Property Management, alterations, inspections and tenant activities.
• Supports all managers of the Commercial Development Department with other duties as assigned.
• Development strategies and secure executive and Board approval.
• Assists with creation of Capital funding requests and presentation on Commercial Development projects.
• Assists with project specific and executive presentations to recommend Commercial
• Drives to locations on and off Airport property.

What You Need

• Two (2) years of experience in construction, project management or property management and/or redevelopment of facilities.
• Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, construction, real estate or a related field.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
• Two (2) years of professional-level experience in commercial real estate development, sales or leasing, law or public administration, OR
