Exciting job opportunity to be a part of a talented team of supportive professionals in a role that provides work life balance! We are seeking a clinical social worker licensed in MD to provide counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services in our non-public school program, serving students grades K-8 and their families. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement evidence-based, student-centered interventions. While prior clinical experience and knowledge about developmental disabilities is preferred, candidates eager to learn will be considered.
Responsibilities
The Clinical Social Worker I provides clinical social work services to students and their families. Serves as a social work role and training model to graduate social work/counseling trainees and interdisciplinary team members. Develops Mental Health IEP goals and implements those goals as outlined.
Qualifications

• *Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
• *Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.

EDUCATION:

• Must be licensed in the State of Maryland, by the Board of Social Work Examiners, Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (L.C.S.W.-C.)
• Master’s degree from an accredited school of Social Work

EXPERIENCE:

• The Social Work candidate must have two years clinical experience through internships or job placements in the provision of services to children and adolescents with developmental, learning and/or emotional disabilities.
